I learned to sew, knit, crochet and craft from a very young age with the direction of both of my grandmothers and a wonderful neighbor. Through the years I have taught quilting classes along with quilting for many customers. I have a passion for making hand made items for people. During my downtime I love spending time with my husband, children and 12 grandchildren sharing my passions of crafts with them. Making memories are so important so with that I decided to create Memory bears for some of my family members that have lost their beloved grandmother and other family members using their clothing. In doing so my new passion arose to spread my outreach to others. As I make memory bears, I ponder on the person that wore these clothes and how much they meant to their loved ones and family members. Having something to hold helps our arms not feel so lonely.
